Background

As a conservationist with over twenty years’ experience, I have worked in areas including energy, water, climate change, biodiversity, conservation communications and education, based out of Sri Lanka, the UAE and Hawaii in the USA. I have experience working with the inter-governmental, non-governmental and private sectors, liaising with stakeholders from numerous industries and diverse communities. I recently completed the Cambridge MPhil in Conservation Leadership and hold a MSc in Biodiversity, Ecotourism and Environmental Management from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I am skilled at connecting people, weaving trust and establishing systems. I have a passion for experimenting with different cuisines and love spending time in nature with my daughter.
