This handbook is a revised version of the first edition which was based on results from a research project “Conserving biodiversity on the modernising farmed landscapes of Uganda” and the CCI Collaborative funded project Farming for wild nature ‐ integration of biodiversity and sustainable development in tropical agricultural landscapes in Africa. The project aimed to identify best practices for the long term conservation of biodiversity in farmed landscapes of Uganda and establish a framework for sustainable agricultural development and monitoring.
