Background

Although my background is in fauna conservation and habitat fragmentation, the years have taken me in a slightly different direction. In my current role with FFI, I support partner organisations in building their institutional capacity, more specifically their strategy, financial sustainability and compliance with external requirements. Other parts of my role entail supporting the development of a website where a worldwide network of NGOs can support eachother in building their own capacity, regardless of where you are based!

When I’m not doing any of the above, I’m likely to be supporting FFI teams with compliance with internal and external administrative requirements, or trying to explore some simple and techy ways of sharing information.

Past experience includes working with marine turtles, jaguars, mustelids, analysing and comparing surveying methodologies, volunteer management, GIS and evacuating biological stations due to floods!
