Background

I’m the Director of the Cambridge Natural Capital Leaders Platform, a major global business-led initiative focusing on practical action and policy influence. I’ve also worked specifically with the tourism and extractive sectors on their response to the challenges of climate change and the depletion of natural resources. My expertise in the fields of social development and environmental management has been developed through my practical work at a senior level with global business, government and the international NGO sector in some of the most challenging parts of the world. I’ve promoted innovative multi-sector collaboration to deliver major global and national initiatives and influence policy in developed and developing countries. During a diverse career I’ve specialised in, water and natural resource management, food security, smallholder agriculture and poverty reduction. I’ve also worked for several UK media organisations designing and delivering print and interactive broadcasting content to promote deeper social and environmental understanding.
