Background

I have over 30-years of experience in field conservation and philanthropic sectors. Born and raised in Zambia, I have spent my career implementing conservation and sustainable development projects in Central and East Africa. Between 2004-2017 I took on a global role as a Grant Director for the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund and MacArthur Foundation’s conservation portfolios. Most recently I was the Chief Executive Officer of Sahara Conservation for four-years, and joined the Okapi Conservation Project as Deputy Director in September 2023.
